Membership FAQ
I've been in business for a few years but I don't have any employees. Should I join as a Business Owner, Freelancer, or as Starting a Business?
Business owners who have no employees yet—but plan to in the future—should join using the Business Owner form (here). Freelancers and solopreneurs who never expect to hire a full-time employee should join using the Freelancer form (above).
Why do you charge dues anyway?
Your annual dues directly support the networking events, member support, job board, St. Joseph’s List, coworking space, and everything else we do so Catholics help Catholics thrive in work and business.
We’re not here to turn a profit. We’re here to turn the tide. And your membership makes it possible. Think of it as a tithe—only these dollars don’t sit in a basket. They go straight to work.
Do I get charged monthly?
Nope. Just one annual payment.
What happens after I join?
You’ll attend a 45-minute New Member Meeting and start connecting within a week or two.
Is the Guild only for Catholics?
Yes. The St. Joseph Business Guild exists specifically to support Catholic professionals, business owners, and families. Our mission is to strengthen the Church by helping her members succeed—economically, professionally, and spiritually.
This isn’t about being exclusive. It’s about being intentional. As Catholics, we believe we have a special responsibility to care for one another in concrete ways.
That said, we’re always open to conversation. If you’re a fellow Christian who believes in what we’re doing, we’d love to talk. Whether it’s finding ways to collaborate, sharing our model, or helping you start something similar for your own community, we’re happy to help where we can.
